Force Secure HTTPS Connections

Your web hosting account with StormWeb includes a SSL/TLS certificate for use with HTTPS.  Before forcing a HTTPS connection to your web site, you will first need to test your site to make sure that it loads correctly using https://.  Simply visit https://www.example.com (where example.com is your domain name).

If you do not get a pad lock icon in your web browser's address bar, there is likely an issue with mixed content (secure and non-secure content).  We recommend the free tool at https://www.whynopadlock.com to help diagnose the problem.  After you work out the mixed content issues, you can proceed.

First login to the client area on our web site, then click on Domain Setup, then click on your domain name.  Here you can check the Force SSL with https redirect checkbox to force https connections to your web site. Now all visitors to your site will be taken to the secure version.
